I first went to Heidi when I was feeling rundown, overweight, exhausted, peri-menopausal, and generally frustrated. Heidi listened to all my concerns and sent me for comprehensive blood work. She then took the time to carefully explain everything that came back and why I was feeling the way I was.I added osteopath as well, and Andrea has helped me feel stronger and helped with pain. I am now feeling calmer, healthier, more positive, and have more energy to exercise regularly.I am no longer taking any of the medications I was taking before. The have always treated me with compassion and professionalism and I have a great deal of trust for their assessments. The wide variety of specializations the team employs has also been very helpful. Having Physiotherapists and accupuncturists on staff means was able to get a much more well-rounded treatment plan.

I highly recommend going to see Dr. Heidi. She has improved both my physical and mental health. 8 months ago, when I found out I was pregnant, I booked an appt with Heidi because I wanted to optimize my health and pregnancy. My first appt was so warm and welcoming. Heidi recommended I start acupuncture treatment with her because it is so beneficial during pregnancy. She was right! My pregnancy has been a breeze. I feel like my acupuncture treatments have helped with my energy levels, stress levels, and any pain I feel in my body. Sometimes it doesn’t even feel like I am pregnant because I feel like my health is in the best condition ever. I feel strong and confident! Through Heidi’s recommendation, I also started osteopathic treatments with Andrea who is another practitioner at Healing Foundations. This was a game changer. Andrea is very knowledgeable and passionate about her work. She has expressed so much enthusiasm while working with me and I feel like I can trust her. After my first appt with her, my lower back pain disappeared. It felt like magic! I will continue to see Andrea for the remainder of my pregnancy and postpartum and I think anyone can benefit from her treatments!In my first trimester of pregnancy, I travelled to Nova Scotia and unfortunately while I was there, I contracted Lyme disease. This was very devastating and traumatic. I started experiencing horrible symptoms and I got very sick. Dr. Heidi worked alongside me and helped me manage my symptoms. She was very optimistic and she also helped me maintain a positive attitude through what seemed like a never ending nightmare! With the work of antibiotics and Heidi’s homeopathic recommendations, I was able to cure my Lyme disease after 5 months. This was huge!Again, 10/10 recommend going to see Dr. Heidi. You will not be disappointed. She is so calm and professional. She sparks hope in you even when you feel like you have come to the end of the road. She is someone you can trust and I am so impressed with how knowledgeable she is. She is my naturopathic doctor for a lifetime!
